1. Acceptance of Terms
By using Wasaa Remit, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use our services. We are licensed by the Central Bank of Kenya (CBK) under the National Payment System Act.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and a legal resident of a supported country to use Wasaa Remit. You must complete identity verification (KYC) before sending money.
3. Services
Wasaa Remit provides cross-border money transfer services. Transfer limits, fees, and FX rates are displayed at the time of transaction. We reserve the right to decline any transaction that violates our compliance policies.
4. Fees
Transfer fees start from £2.99 / $3.50 depending on corridor. All fees are displayed before you confirm a transfer. FX rates are within 0.5% of the mid-market rate at the time of the transaction.
5. Prohibited Activities
You may not use Wasaa Remit for money laundering, terrorist financing, fraud, or any activity that violates applicable law. Violations will result in account suspension and reporting to relevant authorities.
6. Liability
Wasaa Remit is not liable for delays caused by recipient bank processing, incorrect recipient details provided by the sender, or force majeure events.
7. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of Kenyan courts.
